Something just happened to me that I thought would never happened to me!!!   <IMG alt="" src="http://www.hkttf.com/images/smilies/default/sweat.gif" border=0 smilieid="184">   After finished packing all the stuffs for my trip to the US tomorrow, I looked at my US passport and was horrified to see that it has been expired for over one year.   Since the US embassy will not take walk-ins, the earliest appointment I could make is July 8th.  That means I will have to wait at least 2 weeks b4 I can get my passport renewed and most likely I will miss my best friend's wedding which is the main reason I am going back to the US in the first place.  Now I feel like <IMG alt="" src="http://www.hkttf.com/images/smilies/default/banghead.gif" border=0 smilieid="195">  over and over again....<IMG alt="" src="http://www.hkttf.com/images/smilies/default/cry.gif" border=0 smilieid="197"> <IMG alt="" src="http://www.hkttf.com/images/smilies/default/cry.gif" border=0 smilieid="197"> <IMG alt="" src="http://www.hkttf.com/images/smilies/default/cry.gif" border=0 smilieid="197">

Haha....I went to the US consulate this morning at 8:30am and found out they do allow 5 walk-ins per day and I was like walk-in #4.  So I got in and at first the lady told me it would take 10 days to get a new passport.   Then I told her I am going to attend a friend's funeral and showed her the plane ticket that shows the departure day being today.  Finally she told me I could apply for an emergency passport and would take 1 to 2 hours.  I said let's do it....but it took more than 2 hours and by the time I got it, it was only like 1 hour b4 the departure time so I had to cancel my flight and my travel agent is trying to get me another flight for tonight.

Yes, delay no more.....just got a flight confirmed for tomorrow.....so I guess I am really lucky considering the worst case sinario....

I just found out our pingunioun get together is changed to 10/8 so looks like I will be able to join afterall.....yuppie....

But come to think of it, wedding and funeral are the same things in most cases...haha.......

$1 chip is worth exactly the same no matter which casino you get it from...so $1 Circus Circus Chip is just as valuable as $1 Ballagio chip.....
